Since Rockport doesn't have its own incorporated municipal government, there are no city council or mayoral races specific to the community. Ohio County holds elections for County Judge/Executive, County Clerk, County Sheriff, Jailer, Coroner, and Magistrates representing various districts. These county offices typically appear on the ballot during odd-numbered years, 2025, 2027, and so on, following Kentucky's off-cycle schedule. Polling places for Rockport-area voters are assigned by precinct.
