Warren County is located in northwestern New Jersey, bordered by Morris and Sussex Counties and the Delaware River on its western edge. The county comprises seven municipalities and is the 20th largest County in the state, with a total population of 109,913 as of the 2020 United States Census Bureau estimates. The county seat is Belvidere.
Warren County, New Jersey is governed by a Board of Chosen Freeholders. There are five members that make up the Board, who are elected at-large in partisan elections to serve staggered three-year terms. Elections are held each February. All Freeholders are volunteers and receive no salary for their services.
