Wyoming County is located in western New York and is part of the Genesee Valley region. It is bordered by Genesee County to the north, Livingston County to the east, Allegany County to the south, and Cattaraugus County to the west. The county seat is Warsaw.
The county is governed by a seven-member Board of Supervisors, elected from seven districts. The board is responsible for setting policy and enacting laws and regulations. The county also has a county executive, who is elected to a four-year term.
