New York residents can register online through the New York State Board of Elections at https://voterreg.dmv.ny.gov/MotorVoter/, by mail using a printable form, or in person at the Westchester County Board or DMV offices. The hamlet falls within New York's 17th Congressional District. Polling assignments are based on voter registration address and election district. During the November 2024 presidential election, Westchester County saw approximately 62% voter turnout among registered voters, with more than 540,000 ballots cast countywide. On November 3, 2026, voters will decide several significant races: Governor of New York (Kathy Hochul's current term expires in 2026), Lieutenant Governor, State Comptroller, State Attorney General, all 63 New York State Senate seats, all 150 State Assembly seats, Westchester County offices if on the regular cycle, the U.S. House representative for the 17th District, and potentially judicial positions and local ballot measures. New York permits absentee voting for any registered voter without requiring an excuse. Applications can be submitted online at https://absenteeballot.elections.ny.gov, by mail, or in person at the Westchester County Board. The application deadline is typically 10 days before Election Day for mail delivery or the day before for in-person pickup. Completed ballots must be postmarked by Election Day and received within seven days, or hand-delivered to the board by 9 PM on Election Day, to be counted. Early voting runs for nine days before Election Day at designated sites throughout Westchester County; locations are published on the Board of Elections website before each election. Public election records in New York include voter registration lists (available to candidates and political committees with restrictions), campaign finance disclosure reports viewable at https://publicreporting.elections.ny.gov, candidate petition filings and financial disclosure statements, and precinct-level election results published after certification. Individual voter history, which elections a person participated in, but not how they voted, is part of the public voter file, while actual ballot selections remain confidential.
