Registration requires providing name, date of birth, New York driver license or non-driver ID number, or the last four digits of Social Security number. As an unincorporated hamlet, the community has no municipal government or local elections for mayor or village board. Residents instead vote for Town of Somers offices including Town Supervisor, Town Council members, and Town Clerk in odd-numbered years, typically on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.
