Wisconsin 72 counties are governed by its Board of Supervisors which is the legislative body, elected and committees of administration, public safety, human services, education, recreation, planning, development and transportation. County clerks issue marriage licenses, election information, temporary motor vehicle plates and other public information. Law enforcement for counties are individual sheriffs offices where information about police reports, warrants and arrest can be viewed.
