Legal notices, public notices and obituaries in Maryland
Maryland law requires foreclosure sale notices, estate notices to creditors from the registers of wills, name changes, tax sales and county and municipal notices to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the county, and the Maryland, Delaware, District of Columbia Press Association collects them in a statewide search. Obituaries run in the Sun and the regional papers, and the Pratt Library's obituary index covers older Baltimore deaths.
